Our Guardian Program

We are passionate about our family-oriented breeding program designed to produce well-socialized companions, suitable as both family pets and potential therapy or service animals. Our breeding dogs are cherished members of our family and their guardian families where they enjoy a full, interactive daily life. Through our Guardian Home Program, we extend this quality of life to all our breeding dogs by placing current and future breeders with compassionate guardians.

 

As a guardian, you provide a nurturing environment for a beautiful dog while we retain ownership and breeding rights until the dog is retired, at which point ownership is transferred. How does it work?

 

Location: Guardian families must live within 60 minutes of DFW and be flexible for drop-offs and pickups for breeding.

The Dog: You’ll receive a high-quality puppy or young adult at a fraction of the cost! This dog will be your forever pet.

They stay with you during pregnancy, then come back to me just before whelping. Once puppies are weaned, they return to your care.

For Males: The time frame is on an “as-needed” basis (usually no more than once a month for a few days).

Guardian Home Responsibilities

Being a Guardian comes with some unique responsibilities:

• For Females: Managing heat cycles and keeping her safe from intact males. You’ll also need to be comfortable with her staying with me for a few weeks during each litter.

• For Males: Preventing contact with intact females to avoid accidental breedings.

Qualifications

To join the Guardian Program, you must:

• Live within 60 minutes of DFW, TX.

• Have a secure, fenced yard or access to walk the dog daily on a leash.

• Open communication and updates.

• Commit to routine vet care with an approved veterinarian (we cover breeding-related care).

• Keep the dog groomed every 2 months by myself (free) or groomer.

• Keep the dog on the same diet from PawTree.

• Not plan to relocate within the next 5 years.

• Be dedicated to providing a loving, safe home for life.

This program is truly a win–win. You receive a beautiful, well-bred dog at a low cost, while I have peace of mind knowing my breeding dogs are living as beloved family members. We believe that happy, loved pets will produce amazing offspring.
